![]() ![]() Knowing that performing well in majors was effectively his only chance of impressing Johnson enough to earn one of his six wild cards, Koepka had a simple solution. US team captain Zach Johnson had dismissed Koepka’s runner up finish in the Masters as “one good week” and claimed he could not accurately assess the form of LIV players in their own events. On the eve of the US PGA Championship, Brooks Koepka was asked about the possibility of being selected for the Ryder Cup. The US Open takes place at Los Angeles Country Club in June and Woods will hope to defy the odds and be able to compete in July’s Open at Royal Liverpool, where he won a third Open title in 2006 in his first tournament since the death of his father Earl two months earlier. Woods has accepted that he can only play a handful of times a year going forward and is targeting majors and events with which he has a personal connection. He made a remarkable return to action 14 months later and finished 47th in the Masters, but withdrew from the US PGA following a third-round 79 and did not contest the US Open before missing the cut in the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews. Woods feared his leg would have to be amputated due to the serious injuries he suffered in a car accident in Los Angeles in February 2021. ![]() However, the 47-year-old then had a subtalar fusion procedure in New York to address the problem caused by a previous fracture of his talus, a bone in the ankle joint. Woods pulled out of the Masters during the third round in April, saying at the time it was due to plantar fasciitis. ![]() Jordan Spieth was included in the field despite withdrawing from this week’s PGA Tour event with a wrist injury. The final spot will be filled by the winner of the AT&T Byron Nelson in Texas. Woods was not included in the 155-strong field issued by the PGA of America on Wednesday for next week’s event at Oak Hill Country Club. However, he has also dealt with an extensive list of injuries during his career, including five knee surgeries and five back surgeries, before his latest health scare.Tiger Woods will miss the US PGA Championship as expected after undergoing ankle surgery last month. Woods, 45, is tied with Sam Snead for the most tournament victories in PGA Tour history with 82. Police initially ruled the crash was "purely an accident," but evidence in the case indicates Woods was inattentive or asleep just before the crash occurred. 23 when his sport-utility vehicle veered across a median, hit a tree and overturned. ![]() ![]() Blitzing on the eyes with an intermittent euphoric sedating feeling realized. Some mild citrus fruitiness and sweet grapish floral kushy notes were all gently succeeded by the luxurious and enveloping powdery sugary sweetness.Įffects (9.8): Very strong with somewhat of a creeping effect, an enhanced sensation that kept the mind clear and awakened the senses but then totally takes over in physically and mentally numbing consequence. Taste (9.8): A tantalizing titillating skunky sweet toothsome treat, this Cotton Candy Bubba Kush tastes exquisite like a skunked up sugar cookie. Some mellow fruitiness and mild grape or lavender seemed to come through on extended purple pass, but generally a pleasing sweet skunky powdered sugar scent. Silky and smooth, this Cotton Candy Bubba Kush had the taste buds in a tizzy from this first whiff. Smell (9.7): A lighter powdery musk maintains as the sugary exterior fragrance immediately invades the nose and dances about the palate. Perfectly primed, pruned, and primped gorgeous amber-reddish hairs and plainly visibly plump trichome activity round out this beautiful mostly Indica selection of fine private reserve lineage. Light lime to vibrant bright and darker green in color arrangement, with subtle purple highlights here and there. Sticky dense in appearance and texture, with an attractive powdered sugary green glow that immediately captures the eyes, captivates the attention, and ignites the senses. Looks (9.8): Rotund and plump nugs of significant size and structure. An indica double down dose, a reliably quick grower and good producer. Strain Overview: A solid standby, almost pure indica standard reliably effective cross of Bubble Gum x Kush x Cotton Candy (or Sweet Tooth). ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm not sure if it's due to the tracks themselves or simply the way they're ordered on the disc, but it seems like a more natural flow. Listening to the soundtrack feels more like a storytelling than the previous Front Mission. Matsueda even rounds out her musical style, so the overall soundtrack sounds more like "Front Mission done by Matsueda" and not merely "Matsueda's Front Mission stuff done again". Believe me, this album reeks of originality. About five of the tracks are either remakes of Front Mission tracks or include references to them this is just enough to make the connection but not so many that it leaves you wanting more original material. But what may be surprising is that the disc is amazingly faithful to the style of the Front Mission Original Sound Version. This is not surprising, since it's PlayStation-era stuff. The first major difference you'll notice in this soundtrack is the sound quality. It gives us a great opportunity to look at the evolution of Front Mission music, since no one can claim that the differences are due solely to a change in composers. Noriko Matsueda contributed about half of the music to the first Front Mission game, and returned to write the FM2 soundtrack solo. One thing they do share, though, is a common composer. FM2 was for a completely different system (PlayStation), and there was also the intervening Front Mission: Gun Hazard, which some (incorrectly) assume to be the official sequel. Front Mission 2 and its prequel are not quite as close as you might think. ![]() |
